It's your blog - join up and blog on!
Good evening i-community 14!
Do you still have the force to follow up this evening's lesson?
It was a very pleasant first class from my perspective, did you enjoy it? I know there was a lot, indeed a massive amount to take in, but hey! this is IELTS not some joyride through the bylanes of olde worlde English!
Keep the faith and may the force be with you!
Former students! Don't hide! Let's hear from you - especially Professor M Shraim!
Have a lovely evening! See you tomorrow, 5pm sharp!

Dear Dr. Tony,
I really enjoyed the first class and I hope that this course will be of a great advantage to me in getting the grade I am looking for in the IELTS exam.
I will try my best to keep up with the hard work to get the maximum benifit of this course...
Thank you very much ...

Gosh! What a sweet bunch you are!
I must point out that the "Dr" Tony bit was a JOKE between me and Hanouf!
OK, I have 29 years' English teaching experience and an MA in Linguistics (TESOL), but Dr Tony is not (yet?) the case.
My daugter, Dana, is an MBBS from Imperial College, London and is working as a junior doctor in our local hospital in Watford, UK. Her sister, Nadine, is thinking of doing a PhD in Animal Behaviour, starting in 2007...
Yes, this should be a fun class and rewarding as well.
Ali, I understand the problem of meeting the 5pm start time and appreciate that work is one's foremost priority. Ask me to tell the class the story about when I was late for a tutorial as a student at Durham University over 30 years ago.
It's my pleasure to be your tutor and guide for your IELTS mission.
See you this evening for another action-packed three hour session!
BFN
Tony
